AOP Saint-Joseph - Red Wine

This 100% Syrah cuvée showcases all the power and elegance of the granitic terroir of Saint-Joseph. Grown on the steep slopes of Vion and Arras-sur-Rhône, it stands out with its deep, brilliant color, a complex nose of red fruits and spices, and a fleshy palate with fine, well-defined tannins. The wine displays a remarkable balance between ripe, concentrated fruit, vibrant minerality, and a slightly licorice finish typical of the appellation. Precisely vinified, it undergoes partial destemming, a two-week maceration, and is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 20% of which are new. This red Saint-Joseph pairs perfectly with red and white meats or a selection of matured cheeses. Best enjoyed at 16–18°C, with a cellar potential of 8 to 10 years.
