AOP Côte-rôtie "Empreinte" - Red Wine

The latest creation of the Domaine, this cuvée is a harmonious blend of the two expressions of Côte-Rôtie: the silky finesse of the Côte Blonde and the intense power of the Côte Brune. Made from 100% Syrah, it comes from a subtle combination of 50-year-old vines and promising young plants rooted in granite and clay-limestone soils. On the palate, the generous attack is supported by a refined tannic structure and complex aromas of dark fruits, spices, and violet. Aged for fifteen months in oak barrels, it gains impressive depth and persistence. This age-worthy wine elegantly complements stuffed lamb, game, or a vegetable dahl. Serve at 18°C to reveal its full intensity and balance.
