This atypical Côte-Rôtie is crafted from a unique blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Viognier, giving it a rare and delightful smoothness. Harvested at full ripeness for the Syrah and over-ripeness for the Viognier, the wine develops great roundness, suppleness, and aromatic richness. Its delicate structure and silky tannins make it a suave, expressive cuvée, where ripe fruit and sweet spice notes intertwine. Grown on the “Corps de Loup” locality, the vineyard is entirely hand-tended, and the vinification follows a meticulous process: partial destemming, long maceration, and fifteen months of oak barrel ageing. Perfect with duck à l’orange or honey-glazed leg of lamb, this age-worthy wine is best enjoyed at 18°C to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity.
