This Condrieu, made exclusively from Viognier, is the pure expression of its granitic terroir. Originating from the "Côte Bonnette" and "Lamberte" localities, it benefits from a unique environment that gives it a refined personality. On the palate, it offers a subtle balance between lovely roundness and delicate freshness, enhanced by generous aromas that reflect the richness of this iconic grape variety. Grown on steep slopes accessible only via ancient paths, the vines are cultivated manually to preserve the authenticity of the terroir. The gentle vinification begins with a slow and precise pressing, followed by a long, low-temperature fermentation in tank, then aged for nine months in oak barrels to bring added depth and complexity. This exceptional wine pairs beautifully with creamy morel chicken or a strong-flavoured cheese like Rigotte de Condrieu. Best enjoyed at 12°C to appreciate its full nuance and finesse.
